Our Data Center AUSWEB's Co-Location Data Center provides clean, uninterruptible power backed by redundant feeds, generators, and UPS systems. The N+1 power provisioning system includes four 500kVA primary and two 500kVA secondary UPS systems. Data Center UPS Should a commercial electrical power failure occur, the N+1 Caterpillar generators and 24-hour onsite fuel storage ensure continuous, uninterrupted service. This sophisticated backup system is tied to both battery strings and electrical generators. Data Center Specifics The Sydney Co-Location Data Center site has a Tier 1 level raised floor space. This data center features floor to ceiling height of 4.1m and floor-loading capacity of 3,400 Kg/m2. HVAC systems comply with N+1 specifications and include a centralized chilled water plant with multiple redundant chillers piped in parallel ensuring continuous reliability and satisfying all cooling requirements. This backup HVAC system (which is also based on an N+1 configuration) illustrates the facility design philosophy: All mission critical components (i.e., power, HVAC, security, etc.) are backed by Service Level Agreements ensuring 99.9% uptime. Physical security for safeguarding your site and data The latest in camera systems monitors both interior and exterior facilities around the clock. Access is limited to authorized personnel only, and strictly enforced by electronic access cards, biometric scanning, and guards. Environmental control features for maximum reliability To reduce downtime, our centers feature advanced fire suppression systems, surge suppression, specialized heat and smoke sensors, separate fire zones below the floor and above the ceiling, raised flooring for improved server environment, as well as temperature, humidity, static and airborne particle controls. Redundant systems to maximize your connectivity and uptime We build in redundancy to ensure that your site is open for business. This includes Cisco routers, Layer 2 and 3 switches, our power system generator in addition to our regular grid electrical power, and our backbone.
